Task 6 - What is Black British Culture?
When listening to the Radio 1Xtra programme , What is Black British culture? I was really interested to hear the stories of the people arriving from the caribbean and what there idea of Britain was to them and how they are treated once they began to live here permently and what music, food and clothing they like to wear. The dividing line of White line and black line.
Hearing about the 90's and the impact of the Hip-hop and America was interesting because as they spoke they said how their isn't much of a change but there is more a varied style of Black Artists.

Radio Extract.
From this radio extract it is clear that britain didn't welcome the blacks and they were named as a "coloured invasion". This radio extract is a propaganda act against the blacks of Britains. With them stating their opinions on the Blacks at the time of the broadcast it would of influence the audiences of the radio station. Editing is used to twist the saying of the blacks and make them sound as bad as the whites say they are.
I also have to admit the animation for the video holds a strong and beist opinion against the blacks. Showing colours are the representation of black and white people at the time. It does make it feel as if the blacks are intrudors to the Britian and that they are like some sort of rat problem that will be solved. All in all this clip is very anti black britain and it really shows the harshness of what the blacks went through at the time with the whites with their words of hate.
